Power couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh met Tokyo Olympics 2020 medallist and badminton star PV Sindhu for dinner on Saturday night. Both the ladies, twinning in white, made a stunning appearance in the city. Deepika and Sindhu were spotted by paparazzi while entering the lavish restaurant for their dinner. Deepika's husband, Ranveer Singh joined them later. While giving a glimpse into their lovely evening, the actor also shared a selfie of the trio after dinner.

Sharing the happy click on Instagram, Ranveer wrote, “Smashing time! @pvsindhu1 @deepikapadukone.” In the picture, Ranveer, Deepika and the badminton champ were seen flaunting their radiant smiles as they posed together.

As soon as Ranveer dropped the cool selfie, PV Sindhu thanked the couple for the evening. She commented, “@ranveersingh @deepikapadukone lovely spending time with you guys . Looking forward to see you soon.”

At one point, the paps asked Deepika for a solo picture. But the lady that she is, Deepika refused to give solo pictures. In a video shared by a paparazzo, Deepika and Sindhu were seen happily posing together for shutterbugs. The photographers then asked the actress to pose for solo pictures. To this, she said,  “Mera solo nahi, inka lo (Don’t take my solo pictures, take hers).” The paps then took solo shots of the badminton player.

Both Deepika and PV Sindhu share a common love for badminton. The 35-year-old actress, the daughter of badminton legend Prakash Padukone, had also undergone training to be a badminton player in her younger days.
